Paul and Mary Ann Adams and Family Fund
Paul and Mary Ann Adams and Family Fund
Paul and Mary Ann Adams opened their family fund in 2018, with plans to grow their endowment to support community vitality projects in health, the environment and the arts.
Paul is the former chief of gastroenterology at LHSC and a researcher who continues to study liver disease. Medical research has been a priority in Paul’s career and he hopes to invest in health innovations. Mary Ann is a writer and volunteer who served on LCF’s Grants Committee for 10 years. Her interests include clean water and local food security.
Mary Ann and Paul’s mutual love of the arts was an immediate attraction when they met in 1982. Paul is a jazz drummer and has played in bands that perform at medical charity events. The couple’s three sons – Colin, Jamie and Hayden – are all musical, as is their daughter-in-law Susan. Their fund will also support London’s tradition of cultural excellence.
