John and Margaret Nicholson
As an architect, one might say John Nicholson is always working on building a legacy. You’ll find his handiwork across London including the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University, Central Library, Museum London (recent renovations) and the Homes Unlimited housing at 77 Tecumseh Avenue.
John, his wife Margaret and their two sons started another kind of legacy in 2009 with the creation of the Nicholson Family Fund. Their Donor-Advised grants have supported a number of local organizations.
"A gift to an endowment is an investment in our future and a vote of confidence in our community," says John. "I like the permanence of endowment. Even though our gifts may be modest, over time it really adds up."
