Bowden Family Fund
Bowden Family Fund
Lina and Chris Bowden have called London their home since the day they were married in 1984. Volunteering and giving back is just in their DNA. They created the Bowden Family Fund in 2007 to provide an easy way to contribute to their community and pass along their legacy of giving to their sons, Jeff and Jordan.
Through their Donor-Advised Fund, the Bowdens support a large cross-section of community-based projects. They’re very interested in grassroots initiatives that are often lacking infrastructure and resources. They support innovative programs that aim to improve our community’s resilience and equity.
Lina is a long-time volunteer with London Community Foundation, spanning two decades. She has been a key community leader for London’s social enterprise and social finance movement, helping create opportunities for investors to make an impact through their investments and giving social entrepreneurs access to needed capital.
Chris’s efforts have been focused on coaching para-sports, most recently at an international level. In the past, he has been very engaged as a volunteer at outreach programs for street-involved youth. He’s also very passionate about the arts.
The Bowden Family Fund has helped numerous community organizations create impact in the causes that Lina, Chris and their sons care about.
