COVID-19 and Our Community

COVID-19 and Our Community

During these trying times, it’s inspiring to see our community step up and support each other. There are many Londoner’s who are at great risk, and as we try and stop the spread and self-isolate, we must not forget to support each other.

Community

Our community is strong, and if you need support, don’t be afraid to rely on it for help. See below for community resources.

Knowledge

There is a lot of misinformation circulating on social media, spreading fear, panic, and unreliable advice. Only follow and share information and advice from credible sources such as the Middlesex-London Health Unit, Public Health Ontario, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization.

Connect

As we practice social distancing and self-isolation, reach out to your friends, family and neighbours. It is important to find ways to stay connected and check in on one another for our physical and mental well-being.

Kindness

Be kind, in everything that you do. Remember that we are all facing the challenges of COVID-19, and that we all need to be treated with kindness now more than ever. Be kind to the grocery store cashier, to the healthcare workers, to your food delivery person, and to everyone you encounter.
