Finance Administrator

Silvia Ventura

Silvia is the Finance Administrator at London Community Foundation and is responsible for accounts payables, donations, gift receipts and monitoring bank accounts, while supporting Esther and the rest of the team with all the financial requirements.

Silvia joined the Foundation early in 2023 after moving to Canada from El Salvador with her family. She holds a degree in Business Administration and a master’s in Business Administration and Management. Her previous experience includes various roles at the United Nations for over 15 years. These roles gave her the opportunity to work on many nationals and local projects that reduced poverty, enhanced inclusion, and improved people's living conditions.

Coming from a small Latin American country gives her a different perspective and empathy with the communities. Silvia loves nature and enjoys spending time with her family and cats, exploring new places and cheering her children basketball games.
