James Hignett Affordable Housing Fund

Jim had a passion for housing throughout his life. Over his 35-year career as a public servant, he cared about the people he was responsible for housing, and he worked to develop policies and programs to best serve the people who needed support the most.

In particular, affordable housing was always front and centre of Jim’s priorities, and many people in London and across Southwestern Ontario are now benefitting from the work he contributed so greatly to.

This fund is set up to honour Jim’s passion and commitment to affordable housing, recognizing the many remarkable accomplishments of his career and life.
