Funding Needs Registry

Our Funding Needs Registry is a portal to connect our donors and fundholders with information about funding needs in London & Middlesex County in Ontario, Canada, from the information that charitable organizations submit here.

Please note: the Registry is not an application for a grant, it is a registry of current community funding needs that we share with our donors for their granting consideration.

As a community foundation, LCF manages an endowment made up of hundreds of donations from people in the community. We disburse a portion of the earnings from the invested endowment as grants to qualified donees. Some disbursement is directed by our donors – we share with them, for their granting consideration, the funding needs submitted to the Registry according to the donors’ charitable interests. The donor would decide the funding need(s) they want to support, and we would process that grant.

To help you optimize your opportunity for support through LCF, you can let us know who you are, what you need, why you need it and what positive changes will occur.

How to submit funding needs?

Simply complete your charity's profile, then create and submit your funding needs.

LCF staff will review your information and advise if your funding needs will be included in the registry for sharing with our fundholders and donors for their granting consideration.

Before starting your application, we advise you to use the Preview Profile and the Preview Submission links to develop your responses for the online registry.

When ready, click on the SUBMIT button to access the online registry.

Is there a deadline?

No, we accept submissions year-round. However, the majority of funding support for Funding Needs Registry submissions comes from fundholders whose granting activity is busiest between May and December. Also, your funding need remains in our registry and will be removed under the following conditions: you let us know the need no longer exists - we will archive that submission; your funding need is granted completely from LCF funds.
