Vital People Grant Program Opens

London Community Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2012 Vital People Grant Program is now seeking applications. An employee at any staffing level - from the most junior to the most senior position within a charitable organization - can apply for funding to assist him or her in professional growth opportunities.   

Grants are intended to support training or other development opportunities that will build the recipient’s skills or knowledge and ultimately enhance their contributions to the community. 

Qualified applicants must demonstrate leadership within their role at a registered charitable organization in London or Middlesex County, and be able to describe how achieving additional skills will benefit themselves, the charity, and the community in which the charity serves. 

A number of grants, not to exceed $10,000 total, is available in 2012. The maximum grant per person per organization shall not exceed $2,000. Deadline for applications is May 18th.
