London Sport Leadership Program
An initiative born from our 2008 Vital Signs report, the London Sport Leadership Program is an opportunity for local youth facing personal challenges or ongoing economic hardship to obtain nationally recognized sports leadership training.
Now in its second year, the program provides sport leadership training and certification in soccer, basketball, and athletics (track and field, road running, cross country and race walking). Participants develop skills and self-confidence that assist them as they pursue post secondary education, forge a career path, and give back to their communities.
